Our Middle School has been recognized for our work implementing a multi-level system of student behavior support. The system is called Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), or as it is most commonly known around here, "The Tiger Way."

This framework has helped us increase the consistency of effective instruction for all students, build staff knowledge and skills to support all learners, use data to proactively identify and provide support for students by closing achievement gaps, and increasing the number of students who are able to graduate from high school ready for college or for a career. National research shows that full implementation of this type of framework leads to improved student outcome by shifting to a culture that supports stronger relationships with students and their families. As a result of our work, we are being recognized by the Wisconsin Rtl Center at the Bronze level. This award helps us celebrate our efforts so far.
